Han Shun Zhou

Born and raised in Singapore.
Currently living & working in Hong Kong. Visual Storyteller, Photographer, Printmaker and Art Director.
I shot my first photograph in my early teens, with my father's Minolta SRT. After graduating from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts Singapore and RMIT University, I went on to make a living working in various creative agencies in Singapore, Malaysia, China and Hong Kong. After more than a decade in the commercial creative world, i decided to resume and pursue my photography seriously and actively. I was one of the finalists in the 2016 Photolucida Critical Mass, and have participated in various group exhibitions internationally. The most recent is the upcoming 2017 PhotoMetria Parallel Voices, 2016 Addis FotoFest in Ethiopia and PhotoNola in New Orleans. My work attempts to document our increasingly overpopulated world and focuses on how people from different walks of life come to live together in a particular place. The congregation of people creates a multi-layered society which exist in cities throughout the world.

Frederic Luczak

Born in Somain (France) in 1971, I live and work in Yvelines today (near Paris).
I use argentic medium format camera and Polaroid SX70.
In 2014, I became a member of the collective of photographers 1 Instant.
In 2016, I was awarded the Prize of Jury in the Paris Polaroid festival.
Letizia Battaglia, president of jury, selected my work for the 2016 Manifesto Festival (Toulouse, France). My photographs explore the unconstrained reality of the expendable and produce a representation which captures the bare bones of an emotion or a moment in time. A possible questioning of identity, to confront what no longer exists. I allude to limits or boundaries, those which separate me from the dead or that which is almost there.

2016 exhibitions:
Galerie Metanoia, Paris
½ douzaine photographique, Nantes
Festival Manifesto, Toulouse
Polaroid festival, Paris
La tete de l'art, Rennes

Her relationship with photography starts in 1998, while still studying art conservation. This experience motivates her to engage further in the medium, both on a theoretical and on a technical level, and reinforces her love of it. She begins systematic work on photography in 2010, by which time it serves as a means of seeking and expressing a personal aesthetic sense.
