Sakis Dazanis was born in 1967. He lives and works as an IT teacher in Kozani. Started photography in 2009. Attended photography seminars by Jacob Sobol, Platon Rivellis and Paris Petridis. Photography is beyond a tool of expression for him, an effort to socialize and understand fellow human beings, to explore and appropriate the urban and suburban landscape, a constant search for beauty and simplicity in the trivials. In 2014 he organized his first solo exhibition “On-Off” in his hometown. He participated in the group exhibition of the Photographic Circle “Family” at the Benaki Museum in 2015, while in 2016 in the “Cultural Landscapes” in Athens and in the group exhibition of Jacob Sobol “HOME” in Sydney.
