Photometria Photography Center presents the solo photography exhibition by John Robokos, Talking Walls
Talking Walls
The walls of the city stand silent, yet they hold hidden stories. The photography exhibition Talking Walls explores the unseen dialogue between the urban landscape and everyday life. Each image emerges around a wall: sometimes worn, sometimes full of color, often found where beauty seems absent – or perhaps not.
Within the frame, people, objects, and small moments of the city encounter this steady surface and create a new narrative. The wall does not simply function as a background; it becomes a participant in the scene. It reflects life in the city while simultaneously carrying the memories of the place it belongs to.
The photographs capture this interaction: a passing human presence, a shadow that forms for a fleeting moment. Seemingly simple elements transform into small stories that reveal the living relationship between the city and those who move through it.
In Talking Walls, walls are not merely surfaces. They are witnesses, storytellers, and part of the very life of the city. Through these images, the viewer is invited to pause for a moment and “listen” to what they have to say.
